Post 207. The Tutters of Broccoli Mountain

At the end of another year I want to thank all of you. Thank you for reading my blog even though I have not been very bloggy. Thank you for following me even though I have really not moved much. There are a few posts sitting impatiently in my draft box which I will relieve in the new year. One day the ”one day” will be one day.

In the meantime, I have published my first children’s book on Please have a look and if you have young children or grandchildren, or if you’re a collector of children’s book like I am and if you like it, it is ready to purchase. ( The Tutters of Broccoli Mountain). Those of you who know our family will know what I’m talking about 😊.

The Tutters of Broccoli Mountain:

If you’re looking for a moral for this beautifully illustrated book, it would be, “Mess happens.” Families are messy. Lives are messy. Houses are messy. No matter how much we tidy up, we will have to do it again and again because..mess happens.

The Tutters of Broccoli Mountain is a funny little story based on a real life family living in the foothills of the Himalayas in North India. It is a grandmother’s tongue twisting tale told through prose and poems, rhythm, rhymes and vibrant illustrations.

The foothills of the Himalayas look like giant pieces of broccoli in the monsoon. They rise high in the sky, gazing down on small towns and tiny people who are trying their best to keep their lives together. The Tutters are struggling. Can Broccoli Mountain keep a secret?

Large print for early readers and grandparents.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic Covid-free 2022.
